BrainFood™ Dried Fruit Co. is run by Tim Egerdeen, also known as the @brainfoodguy. He is an award-winning entrepreneur who has been a foundational vendor of the Kwantlen Farmers' Market since our beginning 10 years ago. His company has been growing and drying preservative-free fruit for over 25 years.

With $600, BrainFood™ Dried Fruit Co. began in Tim's kitchen because the dried fruits in stores are packed with unnecessary refined sugar and sulphites. Being a certified nutritionist and nutritional therapist, Tim likes to create snacks that are yummy AND healthy.

BrainFood™ Dried Fruit Co. grows and dries cranberries, blueberries, and tart cherries, and sells other assorted fruit products including dark chocolate blueberries.

Some other fun facts about BrainFood™ Dried Fruit Co.:

1. They were the only dried fruit company at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver;

2. They were part of the Guinness World Record for the Longest Charcuterie Board in the World;

3. Tim is an 8x Business Excellence Award Recipient.

He's especially known for his Dried Tart Cherries. Not only are they a nice healthy snack, but they also can help with arthritis and gout as well as regulate sleep.
