This page has the Vendor Application info, as well as quick links and important facts relevant to all our vendors.

*All vendors must adhere to the Make, Bake, Grow, Wild Harvest, and Raise policy of the BCAFM. All vendors must be the primary producers, not resellers.

Vendor Handbook

Contact us for our Vendor Handbook, and please read it before filling out our vendor application.

Please make sure you are familiar with the vendor handbook before coming to market!

 

All vendors are required to have a 10x10 tent, 20lbs of weight on each tent leg, a table and signage. All vendors are required to carry a minimum of $2 million liability insurance for the days they are at market.

Need to change a date, update your products, add new photos, or update your documents? Please log into the Vendor Portal with the MarketWurks to make these changes.

Health Permits

All vendors selling high- or low-risk products are required to have their FOODSAFE certificate or MarketSafe certificate on file.

 

High-risk vendors also have to provide approval from the Health Authority, such as a letter of confirmation/approved food safety plan.

​

Vendors selling cosmetics (anything going on skin) must have a Canada Cosmetics Number on file for each product.

Insurance

All vendors are required to carry a minimum of $2 million liability insurance for all market days attended. Please upload your insurance policy to your profile. If you do not have an annual insurance policy, daily options exist.

Please have the following listed as additional insured: Kwantlen Farmers' Market and City of Richmond.

We are a BCAFM member farmers market and so are a part of the Farmers Market Nutrition Coupon Program. Vendors eligible for this are only able to accept coupons for fresh produce, proteins. honey, and raw nuts. See BCAFM for more info.
