October 28th marked the end of Kwantlen Farmers' Market's normal summer season. We had so many more vendors, and we (re)started some new projects, like having live music and free Indigenous arts and crafts activities/workshops. Thank you to all who came out and supported; it was definitely one for the books!
Last Tuesday, November 4th, we had our first winter market. While most vendors are going into hibernation until next season, some of our vendors want to bear the cold and rain to continue serving their loyal customers — you :)
Our winter market will go up until December 23rd! All else stays the same. We're running every Tuesday, 11am to 3pm in front of Richmond Brighouse Library, 7700 Minoru Gate.
Yes, we're open on Remembrance Day, November 11th too! We'll be open because we know that many of you get your weekly goods from us. However, it's still a solemn day to remember the sacrifice of our soldiers. If you're visiting next Tuesday, please be mindful as some of our vendors and customers may be observing this holiday.
Come with a poppy on your heart and a tote bag in your hand.
Check our Instagram and Facebook for updates on vendor details closer to the date!
