KPU Farm highlights sustainable, organic farming practices and allows students to experience the business work of a farmer while working toward their Bachelor of Applied Science in Sustainable Agriculture. This farm stand is run by students and faculty of Kwantlen Polytechnic University's Sustainable Agriculture, along with some hired farm crew. Students gain hands on experience by coming to help vend at the market during the summer season! Be sure to say hi!

As a diversified farm, they sell all kinds of fresh, sustainably grown organic produce. Here's some of the offerings available throughout the season:

  • Lettuce

  • Kale

  • Cucumbers

  • Tomatoes

  • Onions

  • Garlic

  • Peppers

  • Bok Choy

  • Scallions (aka Green Onions)

  • Broccoli

  • Leeks

  • Cantaloupes

  • Squash

  • Berries

  • Fresh-cut Flowers - yeah, even that!

When you support KPU Farm, you support regenerative farming, hands-on learning, and local food security. Your money goes to helping them develop their farm, who donates all the produce leftover from market to the Richmond Food Bank!

Fun fact: KPU Farm is where Kwantlen Farmers' Market finds its origin. Find out a bit more of KPU Farm and KFM's connection in our About Us page.
